Beautification Day at Longfellow Elementary and Blessing of the Animals and Pet Adoption Event at Grace Episcopal Church

Hello Neighbors–Please join us at two events this Saturday. I know many of you have asked about tangible ways to help the neighborhood school. Here is a perfect opportunity. This Saturday morning Longfellow will be holding a beautification day and is asking parents and community members to do some good old manual labor and help to beautify the school. Afterwards if you have a pet you can head down to Grace Episcopal Church for the annual Blessing of the Animals on Saturday afternoon. If you don’t have a pet you can come and find a furry friend–there will be adoptable pets available! See below for details.

Beautification Day at Longfellow--Join community members and Longfellow Parents from 8am-noon on Saturday October 4th in the front lawn of Longfellow Elementary. If you have them please bring along gardening tools, gloves, wheelbarrow, shovels and water. Kids looking for community service hours can get credit.
