Longfellow News

Longfellow Elementary recently achieved the distinguished Lighthouse School status among Leader in Me Schools. Out of nearly 2,000 Leader in Me Schools across the nation Longfellow became one of only 150 schools to reach Lighthouse status. According to the Leader in Me website, “Lighthouse recognition comes because of the results a school is achieving and the impact it is having on staff, students, parents, and the greater community”.  A big congrats to Longfellow and their staff and students for working so hard to reach this level!

Besides all of the fun end of year parties and performances, Longfellow ended the year with a big contribution to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Students raised over $5,000 by collecting spare change and collecting donations from family and friends. Way to go students!
